Support schools with low learning outcomes through team mentoring

The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. The unique experience of Chelyabinsk Region in organizing support to schools with low learning outcomes allowed the development of team mentoring practices at the regional level. This practice allows us to effectively address problems in improving the quality of education in these schools, which demonstrates the relevance of the proposed publication. The results of an empirical study on the formation of team mentoring practice allowed us to determine the goal of this article. Methodology. The research methodology was based on the provisions of approaches to understanding the essence of mentoring, which is considered from the point of view of psychological, pedagogical, sociological and managerial aspects. In addition, the authors relied on the regulatory basis of existing legislation in the sphere of education and current program documents that define trends and priorities of the state educational policy. Within the context of these approaches, the authors of the article define team mentoring. The article distinguishes and gives the essence of the principles of team mentoring: team management, peer-to-peer, complexity and simultaneity, targeting and target nature. The authors, characterizing the activity methods of team mentoring, which are considered in the plane of additional professional education, come to the conclusion that its characteristic feature is the professional development of all participants, on the one hand. On the other hand, there is a reduction in time and an increase in efficiency in the area of equalization of opportunities to achieve quality education in a particular school. The formed practice of team mentoring and analysis of its results allowed the authors of the article to identify social and pedagogical effects that arise in the process of joint activities of schools that are supported and provided with support. This determines the practical significance of the research.
