Library personnel training in the province of Orenburg in the 1920th

The article is dedicated to the question of library personnel training in the province of Orenburg in the 1920th. Based on the newly uncovered documents and materials of the periodical press, the history of the library courses working in the town of Orenburg since 1921 is retracted. Information about the number of the librarians who completed professional training and retraining in the courses is provided. The basic problems in the library education and their solutions in the province of Orenburg in the specified period are analyzed.
