The prospective IT-engineers training in FSES conditions

The existing state need of highly professional engineers for industry, which is the reason of changes in the engineering education, was analyzed. The relevance of the choice of information technologies specialties for consideration was caused. Legal documents, which are governing the prospective IT-engineers training, were considered. Reasons of transition to the new generation of educational standards were formulated. The comparative analysis of FSES 3 and FSES 3+ using “information systems and technologies” specialty as an example was performed, the structure of basic educational program was considered. The conclusion is drawn about the expansion of universities’ freedom in the educational program organization and restrictions in the connection with diversification of regional requests of labor markets were determined. The use of the e-learning and distance education technologies to the decrease of costs of engineers’ retraining was offered.
