Preparation of educational content for training of tutors of distance learning in the virtual educational environment

E-learning is becoming an integral part of the educational process in higher education institutions. The use of remote technologies by universities is in many respects caused by the introduction of Federal state educational standards of a new generation which assume a reduction in classroom hours and increase in the hours of independent work of students. One of the conditions for the effective functioning of a system of distance learning in higher education institutions is the training of employees for work in a virtual educational environment. The advanced training courses developed for each category of users provide the formation necessary for work in virtual environment. When training tutors of distance learning at departments and faculties special attention is paid to the questions of organizational work with users, to the placement of resources, elements of LMS, and to the application of gained knowledge in practice. The purpose of this article is to analyze the educational content of the training of tutors distance learning at departments. The object of the research was the program of professional development “A basis for tutor's work and content of LMS Moodle”. Research was conducted within students' teaching of the Master's programme “Electronic Educational Technologies” at Moscow Pedagogical State University. The results of the research were verified by experiment, testing and analysis and can be used in higher educational institutions for the organization of blended learning.
