Preparation of training texts by students: help support by the teacher

In accordance with the requirements of legislation in the fi eld of education, the teacher needs to form general cultural competencies among students, including the preparation of educational texts. The purpose of the article is to consider the text in a semiotic sense and, on this basis, to systematize the content of the university teacher’s work in assisting students with the preparation of written works. The starting idea is this: the culture of labor thinking in a particular profession and its description in texts by means of standardized sign systems have a similarity in that both “versions of representations” are complex in their multifaceted nature. The teacher is invited to use the methods of text analysis traditional for philology. Also pedagogical technologies for improving text thinking among students are recommended
