Preparation of teachers for the formation of students of sign-symbolic universal educational actions

The need for effective formation of sign-symbolic educational actions among students presupposes that teachers have appropriate competencies. However, the conducted research has shown that teachers do not fully possess the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for such activities. On the basis of a broad analysis, the content of teacher training for the formation of sign-symbolic universal educational actions among students is determined, pedagogical approaches of training (integrative and andragogical) are substantiated, forms and methods of teaching are identified.
