Preparation of the project Constitution of the Kyrgyz SSR of 1978

The article discusses the history of the development of a new edition of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz SSR, adopted in 1978. The aforementioned Constitution is the Basic Law adopted for the second time in the history of Kyrgyzstan after receiving the status of a union republic. In the article, along with the historical prerequisites for the preparation of the Constitution, on the basis of historical and archival sources, the structure and composition of the working group that participated in it are scientifically analyzed. The main parts and articles of the Constitution corresponded to the provisions and principles of the Constitution of the USSR.
