The article gives grounds for the significance of a new methodological approach to the problem of art education. rested on results of analysis of a specific nature of fiction books, the approach takes into account the factor of transformation of artistic creation into a dynamic factor in shifting cultural values. From the standpoint of synergetic philosophy of history the law of self-organisation of ethic and aesthetic ideals and the method of dual oppositions constitute the foundation of the above approach.
