The article deals with one of the exercises of kettlebell lifting introduced in the training process of the team of SPbSUT in kettlebell lifting and students who attend optional classes in kettlebell lifting. Statistical processing of experimental data is carried out based on the results of this exercise, which is one of the control exercises. There is a discussion of the importance of using control exercises in the training process kettlebell lifters.
