Approaches to understanding the preventive function of administrative prejudice in criminal law

The article considers the concept and content of the preventive function of administrative prejudice in the criminal law of the Russian Federation. The author analyzes the definition of the term «function» in science, studies the understanding of the functions of law in general and their classifications, as well as the functions of criminal law in particular and the general and specific functions of administrative prejudice arising from them, including the preventive function as one of the key ones. The definition of the concept of the preventive function of administrative prejudice in criminal law is given and its content is revealed.
