Approaches to improving listening comprehension skills in modern English on video content

Listening comprehension of English is one of the most difficult skills to learn. In English language teaching, the use of audio materials to develop students' listening comprehension skills is widespread. However, with the expansion of information technology capabilities, the introduction of video content in the teaching process to improve listening skills is gaining popularity. This study examines the advantages and disadvantages of videos as tools for teaching English and provides an overview of electronic resources that contain quality video content for learning.
