Behavioral time geography is an interdisciplinary course that includes methods of the sociology of space, ecological sociology, environmental psychology, humanistic geography, and spatial analysis. Behavioral time geography is a promising approach to the study of society and space. In recent years, there has been a tendency to the increased interest in time geography within behavioral area among sociologists and humanistic geographers of non-Western countries. This fact can be explained by its high methodical capacity. The possibilities of space-time approaches at the beginning of the behavioral geography formation allow one to study social transformations from the standpoint of scientific and humanistic paradigms which are mutually complementary. These methods can be applied to the study of ethnic and cultural and ethnic and social transformations.
