Outdoor play as a means of developing communication skills in older preschoolers

Currently, one of the serious problems of Russian pedagogy is the problem of developing communicative skills in preschool children. The importance of this issue depends on the environment of the child and the society in which he is located. This problem is especially deepened if the society lacks a good level of upbringing, kindness, language culture, and friendliness. Therefore, in the process of educating preschoolers, it is necessary to pay due attention to solving tasks for the development of communicative skills, which include the ability to engage in conversation, the ability to communicate, the ease of establishing contacts, the ability to negotiate, be independent and defend your position. The communicative development of a child in society is aimed at learning the traditions of the family, society and the state, as well as socio-cultural norms. The preschool period is considered an important link for the formation of basic personality structures. A preschool child who is not sociable enough (cannot communicate, is not accepted by peers because he does not know how to organize his communication) often feels rejected by others. As a result, this can lead to low self-esteem, self-doubt, the child may withdraw, become anxious, and in some cases even aggressive. In preschool age, the leading type of activity is play. Therefore, play activities, in particular outdoor play, have a special impact on the development of communication skills in older preschoolers. Based on the results of the study, the effectiveness of outdoor games in the development of communication skills in older preschoolers was revealed.
