The article explains the results of introduction in the content of physical education of preschool age children outdoor games with didactic orientation. The main classification of outdoor games which have influence on motor development and mental abilities are shown. The change of combination variants of verbal, visual and practical methods of physical education is offered. The positive influence of this work on change of indicators development of intellectual and motive processes is noted.
