Search of informative SSR-markers for soybean cultivars passportization

Soybean is one of the important crop contributing to food security. The development of new soybean cultivars and their including into the State Register will be confirmed by genetic passportization. The purpose of the research was a search of informative SSR-loci too add the existing system of DNA-markers for soybean passportization. We selected 27 SSR-loci from SoyBase using an online instrument Primer-BLAST. The information capacity of microsatellite loci was estimated in 20 soybean cultivars. PCR-products were divided in PAAG in denaturing conditions. We allocated 13 highly informative (PIC 0.50-0.72) and five informative (PIC 0.44-0.49) microsatellite loci from 27 ones selected in silico. Selected in the research loci can be used for genotyping and jointly with tested earlier DNA-markers for soybean passportization.
