Today, there is a global challenge in finding a new worldview as a necessary condition for a new era in human development. People are criticizing and rethinking the constants of the old worldview – rationalism and anthropocentrism. The object of our research is the development of the philosophy of the modern (from the late 19th century to the present) transitional historical worldview as a subprocess of worldview development. The subject of this study is the philosophical movement of psychoanalysis as a form of philosophical development in the aforementioned transitional state of worldview development. The aim of this article is to examine the philosophical concepts of the founders of psychoanalysis and to systematize the results obtained by our predecessors in analyzing their theories. The study utilizes a multiparadigmatic methodology, as well as methods of analysis, synthesis, and construction. Based on the results of this work, the author has constructed an epistemological model of psychoanalysis, which confirms the proposed hypothesis regarding the main trend in the evolution of worldviews: the process of rethinking old constants leads to a shift away from rationalism and anthropocentrism.
