Poetics of the books of Purva Dzhidleev and Lidji Indzhiev of 1940

The article deals with the poetics of two books of the Kalmyk poets - Purva Dzhidleev and Lidji Indzhiev, published in Elista in 1940. The historical and literary method and the comparative method support the revealing of the author’s individuality and the specific features of the development of the literary process disturbed by the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) and the transportation of the Kalmyk people (1943-1956). The works demonstrate the connection with the present time, the folklore and the national versification.
