Poetics of peasants’ labor in the story “An ordinary affair” by V.I. Belov

The article deals with the fiction and stylistic means of the description of the peasants’ labor and the relevant motive and imaginative rows. There is given the multifaceted analysis of the typical devices for the prose of V.I. Belov (the reduction in the description of working processes, the mutual characteristics of the characters, the lexical and compositional repetitions). There are revealed the key images-symbols of the work associated with the personification of the theme of the peasants’ labor and the idea of the life circle.
