To conduct this research the author observed one hundred and twenty 18-30 years old patients with severe herpetic infection with orofacial localization experiencing more then 6 relapses in a year. The examined patients were subdivided into the following groups: patients at the stage of clinical remission of herpes infection at the moment of examination and patients at the stage of clinical exacerbation. The control group consisted of young patients (18-30 years old) that did not have clinical symptoms of recurrent HSV infection. The indexes of T-cell immunity were evaluated.
Herpetic infection with orofacial localization, t-cell immunity of anti-herpetic simplex viruses, recurrent hsv infection, immune control, apoptosis, t-lymphocytes
