The purpose of this article was to choose a balanced method of training for the formation of informational and analytical competence in the system of training. We paid attention to the method of blended learning. In this method, the remote part of the training includes the basic unit in order to facilitate the processing of a large amount of information and to consolidate analytical skills. The subsequent parts of training use a synthesis of deepening of the knowledge gained in full-time training and parallel processing of information by structuring, ranking of data from the basic part. During the experimental part of the work , we tried to confirm in practice the optimal method of blended learning. Based on the analysis of the survey of specialists of pharmaceutical profile, we identified what criteria from their point of view will guarantee effective training and the formation of informational and analytical competence. As such indicators, measurable criteria were identified and the three leaders were formed. These criteria were evaluated prior to the use of the blended learning method in the system of advanced training and re-evaluated on the basis of the implementation of this method. Confidence in knowledge has increased by 43%, the amount of assimilation of the information received increased by 20% and the retainment of information over time has also increased by 20%. Thus, the survey participants noted the effectiveness of the method of blended learning in the formation of informational and analytical competence.
