The use of the herbal flour extract from amaranth in dose of 1; 2 and 4 % of dry matter of the diet increased the odds of digestibility of nutrients feed and increased nitrogen deposition in the body turkeys, which had a positive impact on their growth rate. The maximum effect was achieved with a diet of turkeys containing 2 % of the drug «Extrafit».
