The article is devoted to the issue of modeling the writer's individual speech system. The research of a literary text is carried out using a field technique. In the language model of the writer's landscape, the image of a snowstorm is comprehended using the Trickster archetype. The anthropomorphism of the image of a snowstorm, i.e. the endowment of a natural phenomenon with human qualities, is determined by the dynamic essence of the image itself. In the Chekhov model of worldview, the feeling of the coldness of life, the uncontrollable play of chance, and forces beyond human control are associated with the nuclear lexeme. The forces of nature hostile to man, a snowstorm with its pronounced spontaneous origin, in A.P. Chekhov, are a sign of confusion, social or spiritual.
