Polyfunctionality of pedagogical support of sociocultural adaptation for foreign students of a military school

Russian military education enjoys well-deserved prestige in foreign countries. The increase in the number of foreign students actualizes the problem of their socio-cultural adaptation. The article emphasizes the multifactorial nature of socio-cultural adaptation of cadets of military schools, which has sociological, psychological and pedagogical aspects. Special attention is paid to the role of pedagogical support of the socio-cultural adaptation of foreign students. The author identifies and characterizes the adaptive-orientational, cultural-semantic, motivational-developmental functions of pedagogical support for the socio-cultural adaptation of cadets from foreign countries. In the conclusion, a conclusion is made about the role of the polyfunctionality of pedagogical support for the sociocultural adaptation of cadets in their academic, professional and social success, in strengthening the authority and prestige of Russian military education in the world.
