Ethnic cultures seek for the maximum heritage updating against the background of profound innovative processes, modernization and globalization challenges. In this regard, the problem of the scientific and objective analysis of ethnocultural space is increasingly relevant in the context of the communicative strategy aimed not at the ethnocentrism but at the search for common values, the cultivation of tolerance as the primary condition for the stability of society. The objects of this research are the forms of cultural activities that contribute to preservation and development of constructive relationship among representatives of various ethnic groups - activity of national and cultural associations and regional television to promote national and common human values in the polyethnic regions of the North Caucasus, namely: the Karachay-Cherkess and Kabardino-Balkar Republics. The research objective is to define the meaning of intercultural communication in an international polylogue which involved either the titular ethnic groups or the representatives of ethnic minorities. The scientific relevance of this study is due to the system cultural approach to studying intercultural communications as an important aspect of both interpersonal and interethnic relations.
