Polylogical communication in the public library

The article is devoted to comprehending the specifics of organizing group communication with the users in the process of library and information activities. The mind maps designed by the author facilitate it. The emphasis is placed on the characteristics of a number of communication practices based on dialogue and polylogue, their influence on the users, prerequisites for optimizing polylogical communication. Various forms of interaction in the library communication activities are specified. The issue of the competencies’ significance, regulators of relations and librarian’s behavior in the process of polylogical communication is considered.
