Politaxis prepositional connectors in different structured languages

This article deals with the question of the functioning ofpolytaxis prepositional connectors in languages of different structures in the aspect of their taxis-forming potential. Prepositional connectors are markers or explicators of various types, varieties, or variants of aspectual-taxic categorical situations of simultaneity and non-simultaneity (preceding or following). The polytaxis prepositional connectors actualize the primary taxis semantics of simultaneity / non-simultaneity and the secondary taxis semantics of simultaneity in statements with prepositional deverbatives in different structural languages: German, English, Dutch and Russian. In the statements of the German language with the politaxis prepositional connectors in, bei, mit, unter, durch, primary taxis categorical situations of simultaneity and secondary modal, instrumental, medial, conditional and causal-taxis categorical situations of simultaneity are actualized. In the statements of the Dutch language with the politaxis prepositional connectors bij and met, primary taxis categorical situations of simultaneity and secondary modal and conditional taxis categorical situations of simultaneity are represented. In the statements of the English language with politaxis prepositional connectors by and with, primary taxis categorical situations of simultaneity and secondary modal, instrumental, medial, and conditional taxis categorical situations of simultaneity are actualized. In Russian statements with polytaxis prepositional connectors под and при, the primary taxis semantics of simultaneity is explicated, as well as the modal taxis and conditional taxis semantics of simultaneity.
