The article presents the concepts of the political cycle theory and the systems theory of the organic type, describes the nature of political ideology as a form of political consciousness. The authors have studied the nature of the influence of cyclical trends on developing political ideology and have identified potential dynamic states of the ideological subsystem in terms of the proposed methodology.
