Political parallelism in the context of pluralism of opinions and digitalization of the public sphere

The relevance of the study is determined by the ever-increasing attention of society to the role of the media, their functioning in the context of digitalization and networking of the political process. Studies of the political discourse of the mass media reveal a set of problems of society's expectations of democratic procedures, the role of political institutions and the state, and the reflection of public authorities on the challenges facing society. The influence of digitalization on the public sphere, civil society institutions is significant, as is the influence of social networks on political and electoral processes. The authors see their goal in the article as the generalization and disclosure of the phenomenon of political parallelism in the context of pluralism of opinions and digitalization of the public sphere. The methods and methodology of the research are general scientific methods of synthesis and analysis, structural and functional analysis of the political process influenced by digital technologies. Using the example of disclosure of foreign experience, the authors reveal the problematic discourse of the influence of the media on the disclosure of the ideological positions of political parties, the leaders heading them, and state the bias of the media in the forms and means of presenting information.
