Political and economic forecasting of modern capitalism

The author presents the concept of political and economic forecasting of modern capitalism. The paper gives a critical assessment of forecasting methods based on the neoclassical (mainstream) theory of the capitalist economy which does not reflect its social and class structure and dynamics; suggests a new political and economic model of capitalist economy on the basis of integration of classical and post-classical approaches. The author proves that the future of the global and national capitalism is determined by the level of development and solution of contradictions between the social character of the reproduction and the private form of assignment (property) of its conditions and results, as well as the methods of management.
