The powers of a lawyer in civil proceedings

In this article, the author examines the features of the legal status of a lawyer representing the interests of a client in civil court proceedings. The issue of equality of rights and obligations of lawyers, regardless of the grounds for representation, is explored. The author emphasizes the importance of legal representation for individuals without legal education and notes the psychological aspects of the interaction between the lawyer and the client. The article analyzes both general and special powers of lawyers, including those prescribed by law and those arising in the process of providing legal assistance. The author suggests ways to resolve legal conflicts and advocates for further development and improvement of the institution of legal representation in Russian civil litigation.
