Features of formation of alcoholism among residents of Khanty-Mansiysk - Ugra are analyzed in the article. It was found that in this population there are two age cohorts with the most common newly diagnosed disease, including psychotic complications: persons aged 29- 35 years, those aged 48-55 years. In both cohorts of women there is some offset to a later age. Maximum peak incidence of alcoholism occurs among women 34-39 years of age living in rural areas. Age of newly diagnosed alcohol addiction generally correlates with the age of onset of daily alcoholization. Identified wave incidence of alcoholism labels KhMAO target groups for which the first action should be focused on prevention of alcohol addiction.
