Getting holes in parts. Advantages and disadvantages of thermal drilling holes

The article discusses the main methods of obtaining holes in parts. The processes of obtaining holes by drilling, countersinking, countersinking, capping and thermal drilling of holes are presented. The advantages and disadvantages of the thermal drilling process are shown. The figures show the main parameters and technical characteristics of the cutting tool during drilling, countersinking, countersinking and thermal drilling of holes. Based on the research, the conclusion is made about the expediency of using each of these methods.
