The article substantiates the idea that the use of an image in pedagogical activity contributes to a deeper and more conscious assimilation of educational material. The author proposes a didactic method of deriving new knowledge through systemic modeling based on dialectical contradiction. The image, as a sensory reflection of reality, superimposed on the deduced - so far abstract - object, serves as an instrument for the adequate connection of the ability with the object.
