The concept and signs of a FPS employee as a civil servant

The article is devoted to the consideration of the concept of legal status, rights and obligations of an employee of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation, from the historical era to the present. The range of rights of employees is quite wide, but they can exercise them mainly on the territory of the bodies and institutions in which they serve. Since the territory that does not belong to the area of responsibility of the Federal Penitentiary Service is under the jurisdiction of other law enforcement agencies and requires interdepartmental coordination for further interaction between them. The legal status of an employee of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation is defined as a set of rights, obligations, benefits and guarantees, prohibitions and restrictions that are enshrined in Russian legislation and are constantly changing and improving.
