Concept and system of sources of civil law of the Russian Federation

The article analyzes the points of view of scientists regarding the understanding of the source of civil law. The author highlighted its main signs. It is concluded that the sources of civil law are multidimensional and should be understood both broadly and narrowly. The author also explores the features of the civil law source system and identifies its main elements. The lack of uniformity in science according to the classification of sources of civil law has been established. It was concluded that the legislator gives priority to regulatory sources of civil law.
