The concept and essence of informal education in Kyrgyzstan

The article deals with the concept and essential characteristics of informal education as the most important component of modern educational space. The authors emphasize its importance in the conditions of rapid social, economic and technological changes that require constant updating of knowledge and skills. A comparative analysis of informal, formal and non-formal education is presented, the key differences, advantages and functions of each of them are revealed. Special attention is paid to describing the role of informal education in personal development, formation of soft skills, adaptation to changes in the professional environment and social integration. The problems of recognition and institutionalization of informal learning outcomes are highlighted, especially in the context of the Kyrgyz Republic. The authors emphasize the need for state support, normative consolidation and raising public awareness about the possibilities of this type of education. Based on theoretical analysis and examples of practice, the main functions of informal education are formulated: compensatory, adaptation, motivational and socialization. The article offers specific recommendations for the development of informal education as an important element of lifelong learning.
