Бесплатный доступ

The article analyzes the concept of quality of life within the framework of Western, Russian and Chinese concepts. It is concluded that Western concepts emphasize the intangible components of this quality, which is due to achievements in solving the problem of poverty in these countries. In Russian sociology, quality of life is associated with the labor capabilities of a person as a producer of a social product. In Chinese sociology, attention is paid to the need for a decent quality of life as a basis for expanded reproduction of human capital. Four main vectors of development of the concept of quality of life are identified based on the generalization of Western, Russian and Chinese approaches to the analysis of this concept, namely, the vector of development from income to non-income understanding of quality of life, from material to intangible understanding of this quality, from objective to subjective understanding, as well as the vector of movement from a consuming person to a producing person.
