The concept of "competence" in modern higher education

The changes that have taken place in higher education in Russia over the past 15 years are analyzed, and the trend of globalization of education is highlighted. Emphasizes the need to create their own unique educational products with a focus on global changes, the inadmissibility of mechanical copying of Western approaches to building an education system. An attempt is presented to describe the components of pedagogical competence: pedagogical abilities, values, knowledge, skills, experience, skills, competencies of a teacher, on the basis of which a new Russian education should be built.
