The concept of cross-cultural competence, its signs, structure and elements

The article discusses the essence of the very concept of «competence». The signs, structure and elements of cross cultural competence are considered, its sociocultural significance in the modern dialogue of cultures is shown. Cross cultural competence is a fundamental condition for achieving the goal in cross cultural relations in the context of globalization. Overcoming language and cultural barriers is not possible without cross cultural competence.
