In the present paper modernization of the paradigm by English psychiatrist and phenomenologist Robert Laing which characterizes psychological part of the continuum "ontological security. - insecurity" was attempted. Essential existential propositions of security. - insecurity, embodiment. - unembodiment, measure of reliability of being-in-the-world structuring, and split-level system of experiences correspond to the points at the ends of the continuum.
