Socialization as a way to resolve the methodological crisis of pedagogical science

The paper discusses various approaches to the pedagogical science object and subject definition. It is noted that modern pedagogy is one of the few sciences that, existing for more than a century, still cannot decide on the conceptual questions. The rationale that the scientists opinions pluralism has led to a methodological crisis in the pedagogy foundations is given. The problem seems to be in the comprehensive integration wake, pedagogy may lose its independence and become an education sciences faceless field. Three approaches to the pedagogy conceptual questions understanding are considered: utilitarian, historiographical and anthropological, the simlified application of which has led to the modern “twilight” state. As the way out of the crisis, an approach is proposed. It integrates the various authors positions and leaves pedagogy with its own problem field - the social experience translation.
