Article discusses 3 main approaches to the development of a company''s strategy. The article considers characteristics of the strategic business management in the context of a network approach. The article analyses the main functions of the management of the intercompany relationships in the networks: planning, organization and motivation of the network subjects and control in the network. The author proves the need for a new function of the management of the intercompany relationships which will serve as a framework for the coordination and development with the other subjects in the market: consumers, suppliers, competitors and etc. The article offers a global approach to the development and implementation of a company''s strategy, which requires coordination between corporate strategy and strategy of the management of the intercompany relationships.
