The concept of years of service and its role in pension maintenance of military personnel and equal-status persons in pension maintenance

This article examines certain issues of the implementation of the mechanism of state pension provision in the Russian Federation. Using the example of seniority pensions for military personnel and persons equated to them in pension provision, the author highlights the existing trends in legislative regulation and identifies the problems of correlation between general and special provisions of legislation on state pension provision.
