The article discusses the legislatively secured procedure of execution of punishment in the form of forced labour. Based upon the undertaken analysis the author suggests some solutions to a number of gaps and contradictions, which may violate the rights of convicts and create difficulties for administrations of correctional centers during execution of the punishment.
