The video blogosphere is a new field of research. The authors conducted an empirical research to identify the features of children’s video blogging as a process of including a child in the creation and/or management of the content of the video blogosphere. The survey was attended by children and adolescents aged 8-15 living in Primorsky Krai. There are two groups of children: the ones passively and actively consuming video content. The research focuses on children who are the authors of vlogs. This group of respondents is analyzed in two ways. The first way involves studying the content of vlogs created by children. The second one is connected with the examination of the skills of child vloggers supporting their social environment. Vlogging becomes a new form of social activity allowing children to achieve their personal and creative potential.
