The Beloe Vostochnoe settlement is located near the Belyy farmstead in the Temryuk district, Krasnodar region. It dates back to the 1st-3rd centuries AD. The analysis of the handmade ceramics found during the excavations showed cooccurrence of two groups of vessels, i.e. the group of nonlocal vessels that appeared in the Anapa-Novorossiysk region in the 2nd-3rd centuries AD; and the second group that is smaller and which, presumably, belonged to the indigenous population of this region (most likely, the Sindi). The mixing of ornamental and paste composing pottery traditions indicates the processes of mixing of these population groups. The authors presumably associate the migration of the Meotian population from the hillforts of the Kirpili sites in the Eastern Azov region.
