Sowing and productive quality of summer wheat seeds after their damage by corn-bugs

In the field and laboratory experiments the author estimated the sowing and productive quality of summer wheat seeds of the Kinel'skaya 59 variety in connection with damage type by corn-bugs and also the dynamics of plants growth, the degree of infection by brown rust and root rots. The elements of structure of corn crop of summer wheat obtained from damaged seeds were determined. It was shown, that the damage of corn by corn-bugs result in the reduction of sowing and productive quality of seeds and intensity of seedling growth, the portion of lost plants and infected by brown rust at the same time is increased.
