Andrei Bitov is one of the writers of postmodernism in Russian literature. The pronounced eschatological consciousness of A. Bitov is deeply represented in his culminating work “Pushkin House”. A. Bitov believes that the idea of the universal resurrection of the Russian religious philosopher N. Fedorov had a profound influence on him. The author applies it in all aspects to the heroes of the novel, especially to the intellectual figure of grandfather Odoevtsev, and thus offers the unique philosophy of the resurrection of the word in postmodern literature.
