This paper presents an approach for building adaptive individual learning trajectories using competency graphs within Learning Management Systems (LMS). It outlines the key stages of implementation: identifying and structuring competencies at various detail levels, establishing dependencies between competencies, diagnosing initial student proficiency, evaluating competency acquisition, and employing adaptive algorithms to automate the selection of optimal learning paths. The practical effectiveness of the method is demonstrated through a case study in the "Fundamentals of Programming" course within the bachelor's program "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science" at Osh State University. Prospects for integrating artificial intelligence techniques to enhance personalization and improve educational outcomes are also discussed.
