Potential of citizenship education of social adaptation at global society

Authors study opportunities of civic education to be a mechanism of social adaptation of Russian citizens to the conditions of the global world, and be this define a new approach at pedagogical knowledge. The paper presents the structure of civic education, of groups of factors influence the formation of a vector of development of civic education (macro, meso, micro), as well as mechanisms (social, organizational, educational) of personal development and socialization of citizens.
